I love fall. Looking at the leaves changing color is great. Mother nature sure knows to paint a picture. Moreover, I love acorns! Cute, small treasure of nature are great for autumn crafts and home decor. As a child, my grandparents told me that heavy acorn fall meant a harsh winter was coming. They called it Nature's Way of taking care of animals.
REMEMBER! before using acorns for craft projects, first soak them and then bake them on a low setting for an hour to dry them and kill any bugs.
